2024 is a special year for us as a congregation as we recognize our 195th year of ministry to the local area. We are the oldest Christian Church continuously meeting in Tazewell County. We continue our ministry because of those who chartered the church on January 11, 1829.
We seek to serve the community and beyond by obeying the Great Commission to reach out to the lost and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. We continue in our efforts to “Make Disciples” of those who follow Christ through preaching, teaching, gathering together, prayer, and reaching out to our neighbors.
Our address is 202 South Monroe Street in Armington, IL. We are at the corner of Second Street and Monroe Street. Our mailing address is PO Box 137 Armington, IL 61721.
Our Sunday service times are:
- 9:30 am is Sunday School for all ages.
- 10:30 am is our worship service which also includes almost every Sunday a children’s message and a time of children’s church.
Our Monday afternoon activities (After-school Bible Club) for 1st-5th grade children from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Mondays when school is in session.
